The pricing wedge
WooRank gates white-label PDFs at $199.99/mo Premium. MetricSpot ships them at $29/mo Starter. That single packaging decision saves an agency $2,051 a year.

|---|---|---|---|
| Entry paid | Pro $79.99/mo. 1 project. White-label NOT included. | Starter $29/mo. 5 domains. White-label PDF + brand kit included. | 64% cheaper. White-label included. |

Feature-by-feature
MetricSpot wins on audit depth, locales, stack-aware modules, and modern Core Web Vitals. WooRank still has a built-in keyword rank tracker and a multi-page crawler we are not chasing yet (see the FAQ on which one matters for your workflow).
| Feature | WooRank | MetricSpot |
|---|---|---|
| Audit rules | ~70 data points | 154 rules across 15 modules |
| Stack-aware audits | Generic checks. Capterra reviews note false positives (sitemap exists but flagged missing). | Dedicated WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and Astro modules. Stack-conditional rules fire only when relevant. |
| Locales | 6 in PDF | 7 locales end-to-end: en, es, de, fr, pt, it, ca |
| White-label PDF | Premium $199.99/mo | Starter $29/mo. Brand kit configurable. Logo, color, footer. |
| Scheduled audits | Yes | Yes. Pro $49/mo. Weekly, biweekly, monthly. Email delivery. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Browser-side, only on published reviews | Native GA4 + Search Console integration. Read-only. Disconnect deletes tokens. Verification in flight with Google. |
| Public REST API | Pro+, 2,500 to 5,000 calls a month | 11 token-auth endpoints today. Public docs landing in weeks. |
| Keyword rank tracking | 250 keywords, 3 competitors, city-level | Not yet. The audit ingests Search Console queries instead. |
| Multi-page site crawl | 2,500 to 10,000 pages per audit | Single-URL audits. Roadmap, not shipped. |
| Core Web Vitals | Marketing pages still cite FID (deprecated since March 2024) | INP, LCP, CLS, TTFB. Lab data from PageSpeed, field data from CrUX. |
| Billing UX | 14-day trial, auto-renew, refund refusal complaints documented 2019 to 2025 | Stripe portal. Cancel without filing a ticket. No auto-renew traps. |
What WooRank users are saying. Not us, them.
Every quote below is from a public review. Dates and URLs are in the citations. We are not paraphrasing.
"There have been no interesting product updates recently. As for me, this is already a dead product."
"They have poor customer support and seem to no longer support keyword search tracking."
"We waited too long to cancel and ended up paying over $700 for what amounts to a single report. Sign up for one month max, run the report, and cancel right away."
"When they automatically charged me, they tried to charge me for a whole year's membership, over 600 US$. I only wanted a one month subscription 79 US$."
"Expensive, has fewer features than Ahrefs or Semrush for much higher cost."
"Sometimes the information isn't totally accurate. For example, it might say that a client doesn't have a sitemap when in fact they do."
These are individual user experiences, sourced from G2, Capterra, Sitejabber, and Reddit. They are not exhaustive and they do not represent every WooRank customer. They do represent the recurring themes we found across hundreds of reviews. Decide for yourself.
Why switch
If you are an agency or SMB on WooRank Pro paying $79.99 a month, here is what changes when you switch.
You stop paying $80 for a single-domain seat.
MetricSpot Starter is $29/mo for 5 domains and includes white-label PDF + brand kit. The next tier up, Pro at $49, gives you unlimited domains and unlimited audits.
Your audit gets deeper, not shallower.
154 rules across 15 modules versus WooRank's ~70 data points. Including dedicated modules for WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and Astro that suppress noise on stacks they don't apply to.
Your billing stops being a story you tell at conferences.
Stripe-managed customer portal. Cancel anytime. No auto-renew, no refund-refusal threads, no 'I cancelled and they still charged me' G2 reviews.
Your team works in 7 languages.
en, es, de, fr, pt, it, ca. Same audit, native subjects in lifecycle emails, native PDFs.
Your CWV scores reflect 2026, not 2023.
INP, LCP, CLS, TTFB. WooRank's public Core Web Vitals pages still reference FID, a metric Google deprecated in March 2024.
Your data stays read-only and your tokens stay yours.
Our Google integration is read-only on analytics.readonly and webmasters.readonly, with disconnect deleting tokens on revoke. Verification with Google is in flight.
Run an audit. See the gap.
Type any URL. No card, no signup wall, no auto-renew trapdoor. If the report looks better than WooRank's, you already know what to do.

FAQ
Is MetricSpot a direct replacement for WooRank?
For the audit + white-label PDF + scheduled report workflow that ~80% of WooRank Pro and Premium customers actually use, yes. For dedicated keyword rank tracking and 10,000-page site crawls, not yet. The audit ingests Search Console queries instead of running a separate rank tracker, and we audit single URLs deeply rather than crawling broad.
Can I import my WooRank reports or history?
Not automatically. WooRank does not expose a clean export of historic audits, so you would re-run the audits in MetricSpot. The audit takes 90 seconds and you get a 154-rule report. For a typical agency with 5 to 10 client domains, expect a 30-minute migration.
What about my WooRank subscription? How do I cancel?
Cancel inside the WooRank dashboard before your next billing cycle, then ask for a refund in writing if you were just billed. Be aware that documented refund-refusal experiences span 2019 to 2025 (G2 and Sitejabber). Sign up for MetricSpot's free tier first, run a comparison audit, then cancel WooRank with the audit screenshot as your switching record.
WooRank has a public API and MetricSpot doesn't, right?
MetricSpot has 11 token-auth REST endpoints in production today. You can run audits, list audits, fetch audits, render white-label PDFs, and pull Google data via Bearer tokens (ms_live_*). The public docs page is the gap, not the engineering. Mint a key at app.metricspot.com/settings/api-keys.
Will MetricSpot be around in 5 years?
We are bootstrapped, profitable, and shipping every week. The product velocity is in our public commit history. Bridgeline Digital acquired WooRank for ~€1.4M, which is a distressed price for a 12-year-old SaaS with 250K monthly users. Pick the velocity you trust.
What is the catch?
Two things. One: we don't have a built-in keyword rank tracker yet. If you need to track 250 keywords across 3 competitors at city-level, that's a real gap. Two: we audit single URLs, not 10,000-page sites in one crawl. Pro covers unlimited audits, so running 50 URLs on one site is just 50 audits, but it is not the same as one crawler job.
